Meet The Owner

Kaila is a licensed esthetician and the core of Homebody Sugaring. With an esthetics education from the Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute and three years of experience, she brings a grounded and thoughtful presence to her work. Her approach is gentle and caring, guided by patience, attention to detail, and a genuine care for the people who come into her space. 

She believes in creating an environment that feels calm and easy, where clients can breathe, settle in, and feel comfortable being themselves. Her work is shaped as much by her technique as it is by the energy she brings into the room, warm, and quietly nurturing. 

Outside the studio, Kaila finds inspiration in writing, art, and nature. These pieces of her life help her stay connected and balanced, and they weave into the atmosphere she creates at Homebody Sugaring. At its heart, her studio is a reflection of the belief that slowing down can feel meaningful, and that softness and intention can make simple moments feel a little more centered.
