After Care

After a sugaring service, skin is at its most delicate and deserves a little extra attention to stay smooth, soft and healthy. Proper aftercare helps maintain results, reduce irritation, and keep that fresh, silky-smooth feeling for as long as possible. Follow these simple tips to protect and nurture freshly sugared skin so it can look and feel its best.

  • Avoid Heat and Sweat: For the first 24-48 hours, try to avoid hot showers, saunas, or intense workouts. Your skin is in its most sensitive state, and avoiding excess heat or friction will help prevent irritation.
  • Avoid Direct Sun Exposure: Sugaring leaves your skin more exposed and delicate, making it more susceptible to irritation, burning, and pigmentation changes when exposed to the sun.
  • Gentle Touch: Your skin is freshly exfoliated and sensitive. Be kind to it! Use a mild, fragrance-free lotion to nourish and soothe, keeping any harsh products at bay.
  • Exfoliate Regularly: After a couple of days, you can gently exfoliate with a soft scrub or exfoliating mitt to prevent ingrown hairs and keep your skin feeling smooth and fresh. It is recommended to exfoliate 2-3 times a week.
  • Let Your Skin Breathe: Avoid tight clothing or anything that may rub against your skin. Give it time to settle, and it will thank you with smooth, soft skin.
